Analysis of Survey Data on Information of Rural Industries in Rayalasema


Socio-economic development of a country like India depends much on the development of its rural industries. Information plays a vital role in the diffusion of technological aspects and also improves their efficiency and productivity. Production in rural industries is linked with the availability of methods to locate the useful information sources, the adoption of new technologies ideas. Identification of information needs and source to obtain information is also important if one has to plan for development of such industries at rural areas. Keeping the above fact in view, the objectives of this study have been framed and hypotheses formulated, the methodology adopted and scope and limitations of the study have been framed.
